Under the Hair Dryer
This blog is beauty tip central. And funny. Here's an excerpt.
Yesterday I finally got my hair done. I’ve needed to do something for a while, as I hadt a two-inch black hole growing in the crown of my frosted blond head. So, since today is my birthday, I decided it was time for a new look. I chose some lowlights, which is what you need to do after repeated highlights turn your hair into something resembling Dolly Parton. So, I got some dark brown streaked back in, to blend it all and make me look a bit less freakish.
Speaking of freakish, as I sat under the hair dryer with strips of tinfoil sticking up all over my head, I looked around me (as much as I could without my glasses) at my fellow Martians and thought how crazy it is, the things we do to ourselves in the quest for “beauty.” My technophobe meditation group friend is the owner of the shop, and she also does “permanent makeup.” Yes, she tattoos eyeliner on your lids. If God gave you skimpy eyebrows, she can work a miracle. I’ve got Brooke Shields eyebrows which I constantly have to weed, so that particular service never tempted me. But I did think about the eyeliner thing a while back. But, since I wear glasses, it didn’t seem worth it.

Regarding custom haircare formulations - I've had about 10 of my client's try this product this month (Personal HairCare) - they like it and I can tell the difference in their hair. If anyone else has heard anything about this product let me know, thanks
