Lead In Vitamins?
If you buyThis came out a couple of days ago so if you haven’t already seen it on the news, you will by this weekend. ConsumerLab.com, a private testing company, found problem after problem in a number of nutritional supplements it tested recently. Among the scariest findings:

Foto Facials
A trip report from a Foto Facial sessionEnter, the Foto Facial. Getting a Foto Facial is kind of scary at first. I mean you have to sign this release basically saying that it could burn your face, you may get scars, yada yada. Yet somehow, the desperation takes over and you are willing to do anything to rejuvenate your skin.

Awesome Hair
The storyHow did this homeless man go about getting such nice hair? It’s not like he could afford it. If all the commercials and the seven aisles at Walgreen’s have been telling the truth, hair care is expensive. And I’m no economist, but I seem to remember something I once learned or heard or imagined while I was high about how you kind of need money to survive. And just so we’re all on the same page, the homeless don’t have a lot of money.

Laser Pointer Kills Millions!
A funny story about laser pointersThis week we're hearing about a laser pointer that way "laid" or "placed" (depending on who is transcribing the story that everyone is repeating) on a dermatology exam table and somehow sparked a fire that caused $200,000 in damages.

Will High-Def Kill The Porn Business?
The high definitionThe stretch marks on Ms. Jane from seven years ago when she gave birth to her son are also more apparent. But she deals with those blemishes in a simpler way: by liberal use of tanning spray.

Rainbow Of Holidays
From a clever blog post coloring every day of the week, Ruby Tuesday and the forgottenRuby Tuesday- This ancient holiday was celebrated in a pop tune, but the lyrics were purposefully vague to allay suspicions of the authorities. It is usually celebrated on the first Tuesday after Memorial Day weekend, and most prevalent in the Northeast. This day celebrates all of the people who have been covered up all winter and forgotten to put sunscreen on, and the misery they endure on their first day back at work, when they have to wear uncomfotable clothes on top of their sunburned bottoms.

Managing Rosacea
Speak with your dermatologist about the right treatmentIt is thought that Rosacea afflicts at least 30% of the Caucasian population, there are still only a handful of treatments for rosacea, and most of those are only by prescription. Some of the topical applications are MetroGel, MetroCream, MetroLotion, and Noritate (i.e., perhaps the creams you found). The active ingredient in each of these is metronidazole, which is considered the primary treatment for this disease. Occasionally, azelaic acid and oral antibiotics are also an option. Because one must experiment until one finds what works best, all these should considered when developing a plan for treating Rosacea.

Facial Rejuvenation
Cosmetic plastic surgery (such as a facelift, eyelid lift, or forehead lift) removes and tightens loose or excess skin. If you have excess skin with visible sagginess, having cosmetic surgery is probably your best approach.

Get Rid Of Razor Bumps
Click through to find out more about skin care products to treat razor bumpsVisit the Blog Carnival Store for more razor bump products. In this article I even turned to organic & natural, vegan certified shaving and skin care products to encourage guys to take care of their skin without the use of harsh chemicals. The harsh chemicals are there, of course, but I’d rather see people avoid the problem of razor bumps than subject themselves to a chemical hair remover. I mean, that stuff can’t be good for you.

Skin Care For Men
Shaving lotionNowadays, there are many skincare labels who carry a dedicated range for men. I do believe that it is important for men to take care of their skin though this truth may sound alien to many. Ask any man if he uses skin care and he will tell you - yes, I use shaving cream. Shaving foam/gel/cream and after shave lotion are one of the most important skin care products for men.

Sephora For Poor Girls
A poor girl finds SephoraAh, Sephora. I love it just as much as any other girl. Sephora tempted me back into the malls. Sephora upgraded me from a beauty routine that hadn't evolved since high school. It's genius, really, something that wasn't available to our mothers: department store beauty brands without the high pressure sales, the magnifying mirror scrutiny of the overly-made up salesgirls. I know all stores are working on me psychologically, but ever since I learned how department stores are meant to be confusing so you get lost and buy things, I avoid them.
